More Metroid love for all of you today, courtesy of the Gameboy Advance classic Metroid Fusion. Combining the DNA of Samus' sworn enemy, the Space Pirates, with the parasitic abilities of the X, it's a Merman Pirate.
Drawn in pencil, inked, then colored in Photoshop CS3.

I love the eyes...looks so sentient and creepy. I'm hooked on your Fusion collection--and the others, too, for that matter. I'm hooked on this whole series, in general. It's just that awesome.
